The only personal information Careers Partnership (UK) collects on visitors is that which they themselves choose to provide.
All information is held on secure computers or on paper records stored within secure areas (eg locked premises).
All personal information is normally treated as totally confidential to the person(s) providing it.
Information is stored for whatever periods of time seem operationally appropriate and “weeded” at intervals. Paper records are destroyed by shredding.
This privacy policy covers our own site (www.careers-partnership-uk.com) and record-keeping practices. Sites linking to our own may have different privacy policies - visitors are advised to check.
Information for individual clients
Clients ordinarily work with a single personal advisor throughout their programmes. That advisor is responsible for organising and safeguarding the privacy of any personal details relating to his or her client.

All personal or “sensitive” information is normally treated as totally confidential to the person(s) providing it.
Information is stored by the personal advisor for whatever periods of time seem appropriate and “weeded” at intervals. Paper records are shredded.
The ongoing free “Helpline” service for individual clients results in some material (eg email addresses and reports) being kept for considerable periods. Any client wishing us to destroy their data after their programme is completed and all payments are received should email us at lw@careers-partnership-uk.com.
Where employers fund services received by individual employees, Careers Partnership (UK) will agree in advance with the particular employer and employee client whether - and how - any personally sensitive information should be fed back to the employer. The employee client authorises the wording and content of any and every personally sensitive report made to the employer.
Information for employer clients
Responsibility for organising and safeguarding the privacy of any sensitive personal or business information relating to employer clients is assigned to the Careers Partnership (UK) Director (or Directors) negotiating and delivering that specific programme.
Where employers fund careers counselling or redundancy counselling services received by individual employees, Careers Partnership (UK) will agree in advance with the particular employer and employee clients whether - and how - any personally sensitive information should be fed back to the employer. The employee clients authorise the wording and content of any and every personally sensitive report made to the employer.
Where Careers Partnership (UK) provide recruitment support to employer clients (eg psychometric assessment, interviewing of candidates, etc), any candidates requesting feedback are entitled to receive verbal explanations of their psychometric test results. Whether any further information is provided to candidates is at the discretion of the employer client.
Information on employer clients, employees receiving services funded by them and on candidates for jobs with them is stored by Careers Partnership (UK) for whatever periods of time seem appropriate. This information is “weeded” at intervals and may be deleted at the client’s request, as soon as the relevant programme is completed and all payments made. Paper records are shredded.
Any client wishing us to destroy their data after their programme is completed and all payments are received should email us at lw@careers-partnership-uk.com.
